I want to apologize to my protege, Russell Yermal, the Success Man.
This morning I called him and woke him up at 7 am his time and told him:
I Love You, but you’re an idiot.
Harsh words, I know…
Russell asked me to mentor him over a year ago, and got my attention. He kept begging me to mentor him. This is something I usually don’t do because I’m building my own businesses and just don’t have the time. Russel was persistent though and he got me to agree to transform him into a major success story.
Since then, Russel has grown and he’s been impressing me with the business deals he’s negotiating right now. I called him the other day to tell him about a million dollar opportunity & I told him to just run with it. Keep in mind that Russel has watched my go from zero to hero in only 21 days and make $25,171 from scratch (see proof here).
Russell said to me “I’d love for you to feature me as your #1 student.”
My reply “You have to actually be my #1 student,” I’ve actually already successfully mentored a few talented marketers who have gone on to create six and seven figure businesses. I’ve usually been business partners with these people, and I’ve sold one company to one of my partners.
Russell agreed and we hung up the phone…
Meanwhile there was a contest posted on this blog, basically allowing a few select Insiders to create millions of website visitors within the next few months. I announced this publicly and knew most people would kick themselves later for missing it…
But I got on the phone and called 4 of my closest friends and associates this weekend and told them to drop what they were doing and jump on this opportunity. I just hung up the phone with my best friend, Robert Borowski and basically told him that he needs to drop what he’s doing and work 24/7 to grab this opportunity. Robert has personally earned a million dollars working closely with me, so he’s dropping everything to run with this.
Nobody gets a free ride, not even my closest friends. I’m not going to do it for them.
So I expected Russell to jump on it. He did a few things, but he didn’t post any contest results yet. Then I checked the blog last night and saw that a total stranger named Greig Wells (a serious professional you should know. Add him as a facebook friend). Then @AskLori starts to see the opportunity. This is starting to make me think about being a lot more selective with who I work with.
Now I’m getting worked up. I love Russell and truly want to help him. So I called him and told him he was an idiot for not getting busy. This is a guy who has asked me several times a month for the past year what to do, and now when I give him the answer he blows it off.
I want to apologize for being harsh. I’m aware of the intensity of these messages and that alot of people will see this as “hype.” Believe what you want, but I ALWAYS prove what I say I’m gonna do. Ask around, I’m known for making outrageous claims, but I’m also know for backing them up.
I was probably too harsh with Russell, but when he launches his $100,000 a month membership website next month, I think he’ll forgive me.
There’s still time for you to be an Insider (if Russell doesn’t get busy, there will be another spot). But the contest for all the free social traffic you could ever want ends tonight.
Aloha,
Brian Campbell
P.S. Do you see how social media works? These people are getting involved and getting featured. This is what you need to be doing.
P.P.S. I’m doing all of this to grow your network this week. If you haven’t figured out what this is all about, I’m on a mission to drive interested people to you so you can grow your network organically. Don’t make me have to call you and say “I Love You But…”

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the post – it takes a lot of guts to admit when you are wrong…I think more of us have to be able to have that ability too. (I know I’ve been guilty too!)
You are truly a man of Integrity.
