How to Have a Google Friend Connected Blog Within 24 Hours

My friend and business partner Steve Pohlit created a screen capture video tutorial to show you how to add the google friend connect member gadget to the google friend connect as a widget in wordpress.

Wordpress is the standard for bloggers, and is free to use on your website.

What? You don’t already have a WordPress Blog yet?

You have to get one yesterday. The Internet has already passed you by if you don’t have your own blog on WordPress (it’s that important for you to have one).

Don’t worry. I always provide solutions.

Here’s how to have wordpress up & running in less than 24 hours less than $20 and for under $5/mo. I’ve included links to google searches and free videos to show you how). You should be able to do all of this within only a few hours. This is the fastest , easiest & cheapest way to do it.

I recommend you get your own domain name, but if you really need to save $5 per month, you can skip steps 1-4 and get a free blog hosted at wordpress.

1. Register a Domain. Here’s how to Choose a Good Domain Name .
2. Get a cheap cpanel hosting account for less than $5/mo.
3. Change nameservers.  Here’s a video that shows you how to change your nameservers.
4. Install wordpress automatically through fantastico.
5. Make your wordpress look good, watch this WordPress tutorial about how download install and activate to activate a new WordPress Theme.
6. Watch the video my business partner created “How To Add The Google Friend Connect Member Gadget as a WordPress Widget“
7. Get Immediately busy implementing these 8 Foundational Principles of Social Media Success. Do as much of this as you possible can to maximize the results for yourself from step #8.
8.
