Brian, even I, a newbie to social media networking, and certainly not a techie, can understand this! I am so psyched. What a gift. You will end up in heaven, for sure! Thank you so much!

Cool Brian…My new niche is a hybrid. It’s innovative, so I’m going to have to be creative.

I’m boldly going where people haven’t really gone. My testing is showing a HUGE response. And it’s my calling and passion, so I’m excited.

The blog should be up in the next couple of weeks!

Take care my friend,
Scott

From your lesson yesterday, I’ve created a ‘label’ in my Gmail account called ‘The Social Media Source’ and applied the message filter that all email coming from briancampbell.com will go to this label.

Today, it’s proven that it worked. Your email ‘Creating Your Keyword List’ went directly to its label I created. Not only that, all my emails from Facebook & Twitter went to their respective labels. No more cluttered Inbox folder. 8) Thanks!

Now it’s time for me to write down my keyword list. I’m thankful again for this one Brian!

A very timely article Brian, co-incidentally Im using WordTracker right now. Even though I am a relative beginner, having already used the keyword feature in Google Adwords, I find Wordtracker reasonably intuative to use. When you do sign up for the first time there is an option to sign in to be sent a series of tutorial videos. Wordtracker is free for the first seven days only and might be a bit expensive for some people.

Adam,
It’s not that wordtracker isn’t easy to use, it’s what are you going to do with all of it’s power? That’s what I meant by advanced. It’s great that you’re able to see the power and benefit from it :)

Hi all excellent information… all I was thinking as I was reading this post … was this? most folks get it the wrong way around they go for writing the content first and I learned this lesson a long time ago and not soon enough!

The best part I learned about keyword research was go for the websites that hold your attention to what ever niche your tuned into … then give Google’s keyword tools a run for your free money by researching then sucking the keyword blood out of these cool tools then researching the hell out of these keywords your about to stumble upon from Google’s excellent free~bee tools

All my best to you and your keywords

That is an excellent tools list for dealing with keywords. There are many more out there, but you’ve covered the best.

I have Market Samurai. It is also effective on finding your keywords. Are you familiar with this one?

Brian–Your post helps me slowly gain a profound grasp of the obvious, or what should have been obvious to me regarding keywords, but wasn’t.

My next assignment is to find keywords between the highly competitive ones that everybody searches for and related long tail keywords that nobody does.

How I hit between these is my challenge. But you have put ideas in my head toward this end. Thanks.

Hey Brian, nice piece in this series. I find Aaron Wall’s

to be an invaluable tool to do kwd research. Thought you might want to include it in your list.
